Parkland Residential has finished construction of phase one of its Park Ridge build-to-rent community in Sugar Hill, where phase two is now underway.
Work on phase one is expected to be complete in the coming weeks, with certificates of occupancy secured for all of the stacked townhomes. Parkland broke ground on phase two in May; the first homes in the 68-unit phase two are scheduled for delivery in August.
Park Ridge units offer private garages, flexible living areas, lawn care, pest control and patio balconies or front porches. The community is situated across from E.E. Robinson Park and Sugar Hill Elementary and served by Gwinnett County schools.
“Park Ridge reflects what we continue to see across Gwinnett County — strong leasing response tied directly to limited attainable for-sale inventory and ongoing affordability pressure,” Parkland President Jim Jacobi said. “As phase one reaches completion and the next phase advances, the consistency of early leasing activity underscores a clear need for high-quality rental housing that offers both convenience and long-term livability in submarkets like Sugar Hill.”
