David Weekley Homes has entered the Gainesville market with the start of sales at its newest Encore active-adult community, Lanier Landing.
Set at the shore of Lake Lanier, the 55-plus community spans 120 acres and offers 229 homes in 21 floor plans. Two of those floor plans – The Gatwick and The Taft – were used in the construction of model homes. Prices begin in the $584,000s.
“It’s been a year in the making since we first closed on this beautiful parcel of land along the shoreline of Lake Lanier,” said Adam Cornett, Atlanta division president for David Weekley Homes. “To witness the transformation all these months later has been nothing short of incredible. And there are even more exciting changes underway. In keeping with our Encore by David Weekley Homes core principle to build homes and communities thoughtfully designed for active adults, Lanier Landing will be lifestyle-driven and connection-centric.”
Community amenities will include a resort-style clubhouse with a gym and aerobics studio, pool, pickleball courts and boat storage.
Besides Lanier Landing, David Weekley is also selling in three other Encore communities: Crescent Pointe at Great Sky in Canton, Maple Grove at Towne Lake in Woodstock and Old Mill Preserve in Dallas. Sales are expected to begin later this summer at Wade Farm in McDonough.
