National real estate developer Portman recently opened Meadow Glen Village, its first suburban multifamily development, in Fairburn.
The 332-apartment community is located 20 miles south of downtown Atlanta and offers a mix of one- and two-bedroom units across nine buildings.
Historically, Portman has focused on urban-infill residential developments, such Sora at Spring Quarter in Midtown. To date, Portman has developed over 20,000 apartments, as well as other office, industrial, hospitality and retail mixed-use complexes nationwide.
Meadow Glen Village’s amenities include a central town green for resident and community gatherings, 12,200 square feet of retail, dining and beverage venues across two buildings, and a dog park.
Individual units have chef-inspired kitchens with stainless steel appliances, vinyl-plank flooring, walk-in closets and private balconies.
“Fairburn is one of the fastest-growing markets in south metro Atlanta, and we saw an opportunity to build a community that gives residents thoughtfully designed homes and real spaces to gather and connect,” Portman Vice President of Residential Development Phil Carson said. “As Portman’s first suburban residential development, Meadow Glen Village reflects our confidence in the long-term demand for high-quality, amenity-rich housing in growing markets.”
