The median sales price of an Atlanta home clocked in at $395,000 in November, up 5.4% year over year but down 1.2% month over month. The pace of sales, meanwhile, continued to slow.
By unit, home sales fell 13.1% month over month and 13.7% year over year to 3,731 properties, Georgia MLS reported, citing its 12-county Housing Market Snapshot. By dollar volume, sales came in at $1.77 billion, down 13.7% from October and down 5.4% from November 2022.
New listings plunged 17.5% month over month and rose 7.2% year over year to 5,894. Active listings, meanwhile, were up 1.1% on a monthly basis and down 3.2% on a yearly one, at 12,486.
Georgia MLS’ 12-county report includes Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Dekalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Paulding and Rockdale counties.
