Describe your style:
I would say that my style is polished and structured, blending feminine and tailored elements with the occasional pop of bold color to keep things lively. Fun fact: I like to dress for the properties I’m marketing. For example, I dress completely differently when I’m hosting a broker caravan for a modern build in Virginia Highland versus a historic house in Druid Hills. I use the design and architecture of the property for style inspiration! Last, I adore asymmetry.

What trend from the past are you glad to see again?
I absolutely love the style and vibe of the 1970s. It was an era where sleek tailoring met free-spirited expression, creating a timeless fusion of sophistication and laid-back cool. Although the ’70s trend may be headed out, I’m not letting it go, especially when I’m dressing casually outside of work.

What item of clothing gets you the most compliments?
I have this fantastic cape from Alice Walk, and I get so many compliments on it! I love it so much, I have it in two colorways. I have to credit my sister for it — she introduced me to the cape and to the brand. I love the piece because it’s so transitional, sophisticated and structured.

What is a fashion crime you have committed in the past?
I don’t know if you’d call it a fashion crime as much as a fashion rut, but for a while there, I went crazy for these flowy, chiffon dresses and bought and wore them on repeat. They were beautiful dresses, but I realized that they’d taken over my closet! I had to return to a variety of styles and fabrics.

What are your favorite clothing stores or brands?
Where to start? I’m enamored by everything Veronica Beard. I think the female owners are brilliant at creating designs that are both beautiful and professional. And I must give a shout-out to our local Virginia Highland boutique, Moosh. They find labels I never would have discovered otherwise, like Baum Und Pferdgarten, Essentiel Antwerp and Munthe. I love discovering unique, international brands. Last, I’m obsessed with Saloni, and I’ve loved Diane Von Furstenberg for as long as I can remember.

What item in your wardrobe can you not live without?
My Veronica Beard Dickey jackets. So versatile!

What must-haves are in your bag/briefcase/backpack?
Must-haves are a hair brush, a laser measurer, blue tape and Haus Labs lip oil.

Who is your style icon?
Audrey Hepburn. Her timeless elegance was magical and elevated by the person she was inside. For modern day, Diane Von Furstenberg is my idol. She broke the mold in women’s fashion and continues to design gorgeous, beautifully made clothing today.

What is the most expensive or meaningful accessory or piece of clothing you’ve ever acquired?

This falls under the meaningful category. I recently had a milestone birthday, and my mother and sister gifted me with the most beautiful, one-of-a-kind antique Victorian engagement bangle. I’ve added to my stack with other antique bracelets, but that original bangle means everything to me, and I wear it nearly every day.

What is your style advice for other people in the industry?
Splurge only on the items you know you can wear year after year. Never underestimate the power of how clothes make you feel. Dress for how you want to feel and how you want to show up to the world.
