Every year, REAL Trends, a leading source for industry data and analysis, publishes its 500 lists, which rank the country’s top residential brokerages by transaction sides and total sales volume. This year both Georgia and Atlanta were well represented.
It was Atlanta-based REALHOME Services and Solutions Inc. that topped REAL Trends’ 2016 statewide list for transaction sides with nearly 33,000 total sales throughout 2015. The brokerage snagged the No. 6 spot on the national list.
Ranking on the basis of volume, another Atlanta brokerage, Keller Williams Realty – The Rawls Group, stood out at No. 1 statewide (No. 29 nationwide), closing close to $4 billion. REALHOME was close behind with $3.4 billion.
Overall, Georgia had more than a dozen residential brokerages make the REAL Trends 500.
