Governor’s Preserve is on the grow with new single-family homes

by

Fischer Homes has announced it is expanding its Governor’s Preserve community in Canton with 55 new single-family homes, according to a press release.

The homes, developed by Harmony Grove, LLC, will start in the mid-$300,000s and will range in size from 2,400 to more than 4,000 square feet. Construction is expected to begin this spring.

Phase one of the project will begin with the construction and sale of 24 homesites.

Ten floor plan designs will be available and will include Paxton and Bayberry plans and five-level designs, ranch and two-story homes, as well as first-floor owner’s retreats.

The community will offer residents access to a private clubhouse, swimming pool and lighted tennis courts.

“Governor’s Preserve is located in one of the fastest-growing areas in the metro Atlanta area,” Fischer Homes Atlanta Market President Doug Cohen said in the press release. “This expansion provides Fischer Homes with the opportunity to offer a variety of home designs from our award-winning Masterpiece Collection and outstanding customer experience to even more new homebuyers in the Cherokee County region.”

The development is located in the Cherokee County School District, which includes Avery Elementary, Creekland Middle and Creekview High.
