OBIE Awards presented at annual Atlanta home builder gala

The results are in. Members of the Atlanta homebuilding community were wined and dined at the 41st annual OBIE Awards Gala Saturday night at the Georgia Aquarium. 

The awards from the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association cover all aspects of the building process, from master-planned community to best online banner or box ad. To see the complete list, click here.

The winners of the 2021 Communities of the Year include Empire Communities, which won best attached-home community for its colorful Paintbox development in Kirkwood.

Harrison Homes, meanwhile, took top prize in the detached community category for Brookhaven Commons in Dunwoody.

Trilith Development won the mixed-use category for Trilith, a new town in Fayetteville that caters to members of Atlanta’s film industry.

Artisan Built Communities’ Naturewalk at Seven Hills development won the master-planned category.

For developments aimed at the 55+ demographic, McKinney Builders’ Gardens at Arbor Springs in Newnan took home the top honor.

Finally, Loren Homes won the 20-units-or-less category for its Veridian community in Woodstock.
