The new development, to be known as Bryn House, will offer 337 class A+ apartments and ground-floor retail, the Allen Morris Co. said in a press release.

The building will stand five stories tall and encompass 574,479 square feet, including a 175,00 square-foot parking deck and 2,000 square feet of retail space, including a coffee shop and wine bar connected to a pocket park. The community will also offer an elevated pool deck with private cabanas and trellised grilling areas, a state-of-the-art gym, event space, game room and onsite dog park.

Juneau Construction Co., which recently completed Star Metals Residences for Allen Morris, will serve as general contractor and oversee all construction of Bryn House, which is expected to be completed in spring 2023.

The new development will take advantage of the expanding medical campuses of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University, which are priming the North Druid Hills corridor to become a world-class medical and research hub, according to Allen Morris Chief Investment Officer Spencer Morris.

“As a result, we believe there’s a distinct need for high-quality rental housing in the neighborhood that isn’t currently being met,” he said.

Allen Morris recently closed on a $64 million construction loan with Truist and PNC. The company has several other developments underway in Atlanta and Central and South Florida and is looking at new opportunities throughout the Southeast.
