The property, Park at Abernathy Square, was acquired by private-equity firm Stockbridge Capital Group, according to a press release. It was built in 1977 and purchased by Clark Ventures in 2015. The firm’s current portfolio totals approximately 4,000 Atlanta-area apartments.

Located at 6925 Roswell Road, the asset offers one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with rents ranging from $1,600 to more than $3,700. Units feature stainless-steel appliances, new espresso cabinets with granite countertops, new lighting, Woodcrest flooring and private patios or balconies. The pet-friendly community’s amenities include a fitness center, a resort-style saltwater pool, sports court and grilling and picnic areas.

The sale was arranged by Cushman & Wakefield’s Sunbelt Multifamily Group.
