I definitely always saw myself as an entrepreneur, creating my own business to realize my own dream.

I keep my self well educated in law and trends in real estate. I recommend the skill set the client needs, whether an attorney, accountant, inspector or stager. I like a well-informed client.

Sometimes your agent has to tell you bad news. It is your job to be honest and act with integrity and protect your client. But you must keep your personal and political feelings out of it and make your client your priority. Sometimes appraisals don’t match up with sales prices, buyers want to pull out of deals, sellers unexpectedly have to relocate. Share the information and be a solutions provider.

Don’t be a secret agent! Everyone has some sort of real estate need.
