What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?

Property management for a large luxury apartment complex. I had the opportunity to work new lease-up properties throughout Georgia. My passion for helping others and providing a pathway to homeownership is what sparked my interest in real estate.

Where did you grow up?

Frankfurt, Germany. My father was an officer in Army, and we were stationed in Europe.

Growing up, what did you want to be?

At first I wanted to be like my Dad, join the military as a nurse.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?

I love to run and spend time with my dog to wind down after a long day.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?

Queen Elizabeth. She had to overcome so many obstacles, first as a young woman and then as a leader who was well respected and trusted around the world. She had to make hard decisions in unprecedented times, but she did it with grace.

What is Atlanta’s best-kept secret?

We have many diverse and inclusive communities that are rich and full of different cultures. Atlanta welcomes travelers from all over the world.

What do you love most about the industry?

The ability to change the lives of families by fulfilling their dreams of homeownership. Seeing the looks on the faces of the families I serve when they have the keys to their new homes.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?

Doing what is right even when nobody is looking. Preparing my clients for the homebuying process by sharing both sides of the transaction for both buyer and seller. Using my ability to negotiate and keeping my clients informed throughout the process are key.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?

Working with my clients who qualify for homes that are not available in their price range due to home shortages and low inventory.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?

Work your sphere of influence. It’s the key to building your pipeline, and your SOI knows you and loves you and will refer you.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?

I’m reading Together is Better by Simon Sinek and binge-watching The Crown and Yellowstone.

What’s your favorite meal in Atlanta?

Blue Ridge Grill I love the crab cakes and the oysters Rockefeller.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta?

The Commerce Club for the view over looking Atlanta.

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?

I had a house on the market during an ice storm, and a pipe burst. The next day, the second floor was on the first floor. It looked like a scene from a horror movie.

What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you?

I prefer to be in the back of the room and just serving others, but my ability to bring others together through trust and influence push me to the front of the room.

What is your favorite vacation spot and why?

North Carolina mountains because my family and three grandsons live in N.C.

What is your favorite city after Atlanta?

Savannah because of the landscape and beautiful downtown buildings and Riverwalk. Also all of the history.

Build your sphere of influence and stay in contact.
