New Jersey-based Walden Group recently acquired Brighton Farms, a 134-unit garden-apartment community in Newnan.

The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed, but the property last changed hands for $16.2 million in January 2021, according to Coweta County records.

CBRE’s Southeast Multifamily group arranged the sale on behalf of the previous owner, Dallas-based Boardwalk Wealth.

The property is located at 80 Christian Drive and sits on about 20 acres. It was built in 1972 and offers a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units with an average size of 1,048 square feet. It was fully occupied at the time of sale.

Community amenities include a swimming pool, fishing lake, car wash, dog park, playground, laundry facility and picnic areas.
