A 28% year-over-year bump boosted Atlanta’s housing inventory to a six-year high of 33,600 homes, according to new data from Homes.com.
The city ranked third in the nation for total listings and fifth for yearly inventory growth by percentage. Plus, the inventory of newly-listed homes rose by 10.6%, the second largest increase in the nation.
While Atlanta outpaced other markets in inventory, pricing in the market lagged. Between September 2024 and September 2025, Atlanta’s median home price fell 0.3% to $398,950.
