Abdel Altamimi transitioned from interim to permanent CFO at Atlanta Housing. In the role he will continue to lead the agency’s financial strategy and emphasize “sustainability and growth,” according to a press release.

“Abdel has demonstrated the financial discipline, judgment and steady leadership required to steward a complex public housing portfolio,” said Terri Lee, president and CEO of Atlanta Housing. “His appointment reflects the confidence he has earned across the organization, and I am confident he will continue to strengthen our financial foundation as we deliver on our mission.”

Altamimi’s focus remains on expanding access to housing in Atlanta, he said.

“Atlanta Housing’s mission requires strong financial stewardship, transparency and long-term thinking,” Altamimi said. “I’m honored to continue serving the agency in this role and to support the work our teams are doing every day to strengthen communities and expand housing opportunity across Atlanta.”
