Engel & Völkers celebrates top producers

by

Following the recent acquisition of three Atlanta affiliate firms, Engel & Völkers Atlanta took a victory lap earlier this month with an awards luncheon for its top producers.

The firm’s most productive advisors (Engel & Völkers’ term for brokers) attended the ceremony at Ansley Golf Club, where the company not only celebrated its top producers hitting a collective $132 million in sales volume for 2019, but also the recent purchases of Engel & Völkers North Atlanta, Engel & Völkers Intown Atlanta and Engel & Völkers Brookhaven.

The firm noted in a press release that more than a third of its advisors (36%) were designated as top producers in 2019.

“We believe hard work deserves recognition, so we’re thrilled to shine a light on our most prolific advisors, who deliver the best possible results for our clients,” Christa Huffstickler, founder and CEO of Engel & Völkers Atlanta, said in a press release. “Over a third of our advisors reaching top producer status is monumental and reinforces our position as one of Atlanta’s leading brokerages. We’re excited to build on this momentum in the months ahead as we enter the highest buying and selling season of the year.”

The firm gave special recognition to advisor Ken Covers, who had the highest of the year at $40 million. He also was the top agent for First Multiple Listing Service area 23, which includes Midtown, Morningside and Virginia Highland.

Advisor Ashley Battleson was recognized at the ceremony for closing $36 million in transactions in 2019 and being the top agent in First Multiple Listing Service area 21, which includes Buckhead, Northside and Mt. Paran.

Andy Griffith was named Engel & Völkers’ No. 1 advisor for new and resale of single-family, townhome and condominium units.

Michael McLeod was named top agent for new-home sales, primarily due to sales at the Atlantic, a luxury condominium high-rise in West Midtown.
