With a bachelor’s degree in advertising from University of Georgia, a master’s degree in marketing from Georgia State University and a successful early career as a marketing executive consulting for Fortune 500 companies, Amy Pedersen came to the real estate business 11 years ago primed for success. Now she leads the boutique firm Purpose Driven Real Estate Group and ranks among the top 5 percent of agents in the Atlanta area.

In addition to agents representing clients, Pedersen’s team includes investors, designers and cash buyers, all of whom strive to provide a full-service experience. Pedersen herself is an experienced house flipper, real estate investor and designer and is currently co-authoring the upcoming book, “Empathy and Understanding in Business,” with industry leader Chris Voss.

Known as a passionate client advocate, Pedersen strives to deliver results with a strategic and compassionate approach to the real estate process. She uses the negotiating skills she honed as a corporate executive to close deals and build mutually beneficial relationships with other agents.

With multiple certifications to her name, including Certified Listing Professional, Certified Real Estate Negotiator and Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, Pedersen is currently working toward her latest credential, Certified Residential Specialist. She has as many accolades as certifications. Among them are multiple Top Producer awards from the Atlanta Realtors Association and recognition among the “10 Best Real Estate Agents in Client Satisfaction” by the American Institute of Real Estate Professionals.

The Purpose Driven Team supports a variety of local and national nonprofits, especially those dedicated to eradicating childhood cancers in honor of Pedersen’s son, a pediatric cancer survivor. Other causes they hold dear are Wounded Warriors and Atlanta Angels. Pedersen and her family also enjoy traveling to beautiful beaches and cheering for the Georgia Dawgs.
