Randa Tyler’s love of residential real estate began when she was about 12 years old. A developer was building new homes on her block, and she visited the properties every single day. In high school, her friends laughed every time she insisted they tag along with her to open houses. Now, she does it for a living.
Tyler, a broker with HomeSmart-Elite Group in Atlanta, runs a business based 100 percent on referrals. She juggled raising six kids with her husband, “my biggest cheerleader and supporter,” and office administration work for a decade, before switching to a career in real estate 17 years ago. She specializes in Cobb, Cherokee and Fulton counties, areas she knows well. She has been a resident of Cobb County since 2009 and was extremely active in the community while her children were growing up. Today, they’re adults. So, instead of helping out at the schools or with sports, she supports the Georgia Army National Guard. One of her sons is currently deployed, and her husband retired in 2019 after 23 years of service.
A member of HomeSmart’s Diamond Club and Elite Group, Tyler enjoys mentoring new agents and serves as an Ambassador for Real Estate Connections.
Although she follows her own structured business practices, she strives to make the process fun and easy for buyers and sellers. She caters to each client’s needs and ensures that they know what to expect from the process without making them feel overwhelmed. “I personalize my agent/client experience to each of my individual clients,” she says. “I guess you could say I’m a chameleon of sorts.”
Tyler often becomes friends with her clients and socializes with them outside of work, attending concerts or Braves games together. She loves sports and has been a Braves season ticketholder since 2017, when the stadium moved to Cobb County.
