Construction spending stumbled a bit in Atlanta in July, though it’s more an outlier than anything else.
Residential construction spending in the Atlanta region totaled $304 million in July 2014, a 9 percent decline from last year, according to the latest stats from McGraw Hill Construction.
Even with that decline, though, construction is still trending positive for Atlanta in 2014. Through July, construction is up 1 percent from 2013.
