This Week in Atlanta Real Estate: Affordable housing, scrapped developments and more

by

JPX Works canceled plans for its highly anticipated condo development in Atlanta. JPX Works announced the decision to scrap development plans for The Emerson, which was set to be built on a Peachtree Rd. in Midtown. Instead, the company plans on selling the land outright as a development site, with the help of Jones Lang LaSalle. “Our great city deserves quality, innovative architecture, and we regret that Emerson Buckhead and its striking design will not materialize. We look forward to exploring our options for 2520 Peachtree Road,” said a JPX Works spokesperson. The company will continue to work on other developments in the Atlanta area.
