Atlanta 6th best state for driving

A new study by personal finance website Wallethub ranked the best and worst states for driving in the U.S., looking at factors like the cost of car ownership and maintenance, traffic and infrastructure, safety and access to vehicles.

Georgia was ranked the 6th best state in the nation for driving and fifth for cost of car ownership and maintenance.

The numbers weren’t as good for commuter safety, with the state ranking as 30th in the nation in the study.

Traffic and infrastructure also received low marks in Georgia with a ranking of 36th.
