Reynolds Lake Oconee Properties names new vice president of sales

by John Yellig

Karen Saltzbart was promoted to vice president of sales for Reynolds Lake Oconee Properties LLC following the retirement of Lee Arberg, who spent 25 years as head of real estate sales at the lake and golf community outside Atlanta.

Saltzbart served as an agent at the Reynolds Lake Oconee resort for the last two years. Before that, she was vice president of sales at Sothebys International Heritage House in New Jersey, where she managed more than 200 agents and grew the office’s revenue by more than 300% during her 12-year tenure.

“Because of Reynolds’ national profile, we had an impressive selection of applicants candidates from across the country for this prestigious position,” Reynolds Lake Oconee President Rabun Neal said in a press release. “We feel fortunate that under Lee’s stewardship, the operation of Reynolds Lake Oconee Properties was as strong as ever and feel incredibly blessed to have someone of Karen’s excellent character, leadership skills and Reynolds experience available to take the reins.”

Before entering real estate in 2002, Saltzbart worked in New York in retail production and sales operations for brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Anne Klein and Macy’s. She and her husband recently completed a home of their own in Reynolds.
