by John Yellig

RADCO Companies sold two Henry County multifamily communities to Viking Capital for a total of $96.5 million.

The properties are the 252-unit Crossings at McDonough Apartment Homes, which sold for $57,250,000, and the 167-unit Crossings at Eagles Landing in Stockbridge, which went for $39,250,000.

The Crossings at McDonough is located at 100 Crossing Blvd. and includes a pool with an extended sundeck, BBQ and picnic pavilion, firepit, pet area, fitness center, walking trails and private garages. The Crossings at Eagles Landing is at 700 Rock Quarry Road and offers tennis and basketball courts, a resort-style swimming pool, fitness center, internet café, poolside outdoor kitchen and sports field.

“I congratulate Viking on the acquisition of our Henry County, Georgia, portfolio,” RADCO CEO Norman Radow said in a press release. “These communities are beautiful, well located, exceptionally managed and poised for future success. With the sale of these assets, RADCO has completed over 100 deals in the last decade totaling more than $3.3 billion.”

CBRE brokers Shea Campbell, Colleen Hendrix and Ashish Cholia represented Atlanta-based RADCO in both transactions.
