The Providence Group will build ENERGY STAR-certified homes in Ward’s Crossing, its new master-planned community in Johns Creek.

ENERGY STAR-certified homes come equipped with heating, ventilating and cooling (HVAC) systems that are designed and installed to optimize performance, lower utility bills, and provide better moisture control, better indoor air quality and quieter operation.

The 128 Ward’s Crossing homes and townhomes will have foam insulation in the attic and over garage areas, tankless water heaters, smart thermostats, lower tonnage HVAC systems, low-flow commodes and faucets and ENERGY STAR-rated appliances.

The townhomes feature two- and three-story layouts, and single-family homes offer floorplans from the Providence Group’s Carriage collection. Ward’s Crossing’s community amenities include a gated entrance, swim club with cabana pavilion and pocket parks.

“The Providence Group has been building premier homes throughout Atlanta for the past 20-plus years, and we are proud to now offer ENERGY STAR-certified packages at no additional cost to our homeowners at Ward’s Crossing,” COO Troy Caldwell said in a press release. “These energy-efficient homes will result in significant energy savings for our homebuyers over the long term.”
