Jim Chapman Construction promotes Chris Mancuso to president

by John Yellig

Jim Chapman Construction Group promoted Vice President Chris Mancuso to president; the company’s founder, Jim Chapman, is dropping that title and transitioning to chairman and CEO.

Mancuso joined JCCG in 2020 as production manager before he was promoted to senior production manager and named vice president in 2023.

In his new role, Mancuso will oversee day-to-day operations, strategic expansion and the execution of JCCG’s general contracting pipeline.

“Chris has played a critical role in positioning JCCG as a specialized Southeast build-to-rent construction partner with institutional-grade processes and reporting,” Chapman said. “His leadership, coupled with his comprehensive understanding of scheduling, quality control, subcontractor management and cultivating client relationships, makes him uniquely qualified to lead our next phase of growth.”

Mancuso holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Georgia Southern University and is a licensed Realtor.

“I’m honored to step into the role of president and excited to build on the foundation we’ve created,” Mancuso said. “JCCG has earned the trust of investors by delivering institutional-quality homes and lots, and I look forward to continuing that momentum across the Southeast.”
