Amy Buynoski pursued a career in lending to help people achieve the American dream of homeownership. “I love what I do,” says Buynoski, vice president with Fidelity Bank. “Sixteen years later, I have no regrets and still love it as much as I did the first day I started.”
Buynoski excels by making mortgage lending a more personal experience for her clients. “We do not look at the loan as a transaction,” she says. “We hope to have a lifetime customer and help them through different stages of their life.”
There’s not one main problem clients expect her to solve because everyone’s financial picture is different, she says. “Some clients have credit blemishes we work on, some have just started a new job, some need down payment assistance, others are interested in rehab loans.”
A member of the board and 2019 incoming chair of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders sales and marketing committee, Buynoski is also a member of the North Metro Real Estate Board and the Mortgage Bankers of Georgia. For the past nine years, she has earned the Gold Award for mortgage bankers. She has been a recipient of the Presidents’ Award for Fidelity Bank’s Top Producers each year since 2013 and has also been honored with Five Star and Top Agent awards.
After the shock of finding out she was pregnant with twins, that she and her husband would go from parenting two children to four all at once, she did not slow down. “I was still able to maintain my team’s production, relationships, serve on a home builders association board,” she says. “I was able to push through some sleepless nights to ensure that my clients and partners still received the service they had become accustomed to.”
When she’s not working, she likes to spend time with her family on their mini-farm that is home to donkeys, goats, chickens, a bunny and a dog.
