Atlantic Companies recently broke ground on Hillrose Market, a mixed-use development in downtown Roswell.
Located on a seven-acre site adjacent to City Hall, Hillrose Market will include 143 apartments and 16 for-sale brownstones. It will also have a six-building, 75,000-square-foot retail village, an office building and a city-owned parking deck. The former Roswell Police Department will be redeveloped with ground-level retail and second-floor workplace space.
“Hillrose Market reflects the kind of thoughtful, community-focused development that supports Roswell’s future,” Roswell Mayor Mary Robichaux said. “This project transforms a key site into a destination that brings together residents, businesses and visitors in a truly connected, walkable environment.”
Delivery is anticipated in the second half of 2027.
“This project reflects what we believe is the future of community development: partnership between city leadership and private firms to create places that feel rooted in and in service to their local communities for the long term,” Atlantic Companies Chairman Jim Meyer said. “Hillrose Market is designed for Roswell’s residents, families and visitors and will offer a community of buildings and uses that complement the city’s character.”
ASD-SKY is the development’s lead architect, New South Construction is its general contractor, and Kimley-Horn is the project engineer. Bridger Properties, Cushman & Wakefield and Westbridge are helping with design, leasing and development.
