Christa Huffstickler, Vice President, Developer Services

Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty

While her fellow college students were trying to figure out their futures, Christa Huffstickler was already making strategic moves that would set her on a path for career success. She purchased her first home while still an undergraduate, and the thrill of homeownership inspired her to pursue real estate as a career. Today, this 15-year industry veteran specializes in sales and marketing for builder, developer, investor and bank clients, particularly to launch new projects, revive promotional campaigns and create exit strategy solutions. Having dedicated her expertise to some of Atlanta’s premier condominium and town home communities, Huffstickler is an Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty top producer who boasts more than half a billion dollars in transactions. She is also the recipient of the Atlanta Homebuilders Association’s prestigious Obie Award, which honors achievement in the homebuilding industry.

“I like to think outside of the box so that I can deliver outstanding results thanks to new, fresh ideas that enhance marketing and generate sales,” says this University of Georgia graduate, whose market knowledge informs client strategies and allows her to make data-driven decisions. Huffstickler is particularly adept at real-time market analysis of product type, pricing and sales, which helps her position residential and mixed-used real estate appropriately. This enables her to attract qualified buyers to her clients’ properties as well as expertly facilitate their contract to closing process.

Huffstickler’s extensive local knowledge and ability to quickly gain insight into her clients’ needs have made her a valued partner in the homebuying and selling processes. As a result, Huffstickler is able to offer a unique perspective when participating in the city’s planning process for new developments. “Understanding the perspectives of both the developer and the consumer allows me to make thoughtful contributions to discussions about how real estate projects will impact Atlanta and its residents,” she says.

A Habitat for Humanity volunteer, this mother of three daughters believes in modeling courage, strength and empathy for others so that her girls follow her example. “They inspire me to live my life and conduct my business this way,” she says. The consummate professional, Huffstickler understands that relationships – including with her clients, buyers and the sales agents she leads – are at the heart of what has and continues to make her a success. “My philosophy is do the right thing and put people first, and life will turn out as it should.”
