Skyrocketing to success upon joining the real estate industry six years ago, Kara Lyness established herself as a producer to watch from day one. As the lead agent and principal of Blue Grace Group, Lyness comes equipped with interior design expertise, having worked with her mother’s interior design firm for over a decade.

“The knowledge I gained relating to building homes, remodels and design has been a key factor to my success as a Realtor,” she says, adding that she is incorporating a full-scale design center and staging business into Blue Grace Group by the end of the year, putting all three entities under one roof.

Working with buyers, sellers, investors, developers and builders throughout Atlanta, Lyness has sold nearly 300 homes. In 2018 alone, she sold over $15.6 million, earning the Top Producer Award from PalmerHouse. She previously received Rookie of the Year and Top Producer awards from Keller Williams Southeast Region and was named their No. 4 individual agent in 2016. Even with just two members, Blue Grace Realty consistently ranks among the top 5 at PalmerHouse Properties.

Described by her clients as a “secret weapon” and “superstar,” Lyness brings empathy and humanity to every transaction. “I take pride in my work and would never do less than 100 percent,” she says.

A former Junior Olympic figure skater, Lyness developed a sense of discipline at a young age, a trait that has proved fundamental to her success. She is a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist and a member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors and Trinity Anglican Church.

Lyness is a mother of two daughters, and in addition to spending time with her family, she enjoys thrifting and antique shopping, working out at Orangetheory Fitness, traveling, gardening, and spending time outdoors.
