Tuy Dewey Luong, associate broker and a founder of Team Simply Homes at Compass, entered the real estate business after purchasing his first home. After experiencing firsthand how chaotic, confusing and alienating purchasing a home can be, he made it his mission to help as many families as he could. He has spent nearly a decade working tirelessly to help his clients find their forever homes.

“From a first-time homebuyer’s experience,” he says, “I felt like there were many first-time homebuyers out there that needed help like I did.”

Optimistic and happy-go-lucky, Luong’s business philosophy is one that prioritizes the happiness and well-being of his clients, most of whom are millennials or young professionals who enlist his help after getting a referral. His clients describe him as trustworthy, knowledgeable and professional, and appreciate the positive energy that always accompanies him. Recently, he was awarded the Top 5% Award for the first half of 2022 from Homesnap and was recognized as the 2021 Million Dollar Club winner at the President Level by the Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of Realtors. 

“I always try to get to know my clients on a personal level before I start working with them,” he says. “I want them to know that I’m always by their side and that they have a real friend in me.”

Outside of the office, Luong loves putting time and effort into his own home and takes on new renovation projects whenever possible. An active member of his community, he often hosts fundraising events through various competitive sports tournaments. He also makes an effort to take road trips with his wife and children as much as he can.
