Dan Forsman Acknowledged As 2015 Most Admired CEO For Residential Real Estate.

Daniel T. Forsman, the president & CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties, was chosen by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as the 2015 Most Admired CEO for Residential Real Estate. This marks the second year in a row that Forsman has received the awarded.

By popular vote, Forsman was selected as the Reader’s Choice winner for the residential real estate category. Other CEOs who were nominated for the award included Dan Parmer (Harry Norman Realtors), Richard Dugas (Pulte Group), Jenny Pruitt (Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty) and Charlotte Sears (Coldwell Banker). A formal awards ceremony was held on Thursday, August 27th at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta, hosted by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

“I am incredibly humbled by this honor,” Forsman said.  “I congratulate the nominees and Reader’s Choice recipients as role models in their own right.  They are all inspirational leaders.  I am fortunate to have a talented team of employees and associates that deliver exceptional services to our clients and customers. I also want to thank my wife and family for their love and support.”

Under Forsman’s leadership, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties (formerly Prudential Georgia Realty) has become the market leader for real estate companies in Atlanta. As of 2015, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties has grown to more than 1,350 associates, and is ranked No. 1 in homes sold, according to Trendgraphix and Smart RE Data.

Forsman has been the recipient of many honors, including the Top 40 Under 40, the Gordon Brown Award,  Swanepoel 200, Atlanta Business Chronicle Who’s Who in Residential Real Estate and the Broker of the Year for the entire Prudential Real Estate Affiliates global network. He previously served as president of the Atlanta Board of Realtors.
