What was your first job in the realty industry? I became a Realtor in 2004 and went to work as an independent agent with a top firm.

Where did you grow up? Just outside of New Orleans in Slidell, Louisiana

Growing up, what did you want to be? I wanted to be an attorney.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Find something or someone to make me laugh!

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Without a doubt, Jesus Christ because of the influence he has in our world

Where is your favorite place to hang out? Pretty much any music venue: Music Midtown, Chastain Park, City Winery, Tabernacle. I love music and support some hometown bands like Gravity Zero. You also might find me at Valenza or Haven in Brookhaven, Aria in Buckhead or Food 101 in Sandy Springs.

What do you love most about the industry? I love negotiations, strategizing, problem-solving, teaching, being with clients and the lasting relationships.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I have incredibly high standards in every way and I value my client relationships immensely. My clients know I will be around after the transaction for whatever they may need.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Sometimes not having enough time in the day to get everything accomplished, but I would not say that is “difficult,” just the nature of being a business owner. When this happens, I get help from staff.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Being an outgoing person makes meeting new people come naturally, but I do not go out looking to network purposefully, as that is not natural for me.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? I just watched binge watched two seasons of Stranger Things!

What is your favorite restaurant? Hal’s, which is funny because I don’t eat meat anymore!

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta? The High Museum of Art

What kind of car do you drive? Lexus LX 570

Smartphone or paper? I have to use both!

What is your favorite city after Atlanta? I would be a traitor if I did not say my hometown of New Orleans!

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? You will succeed, just don’t give up!
