What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
I taught English in Thailand for five years.

Born and raised in Decatur, Georgia.
Growing up, what did you want to be?
I wanted to be a professional candy taster.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
I sit outside in nature with a cocktail.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
JRR Tolkien or George RR Martin. First, so I could talk about the books with them; second, so I could tell George to finish them.

What do you love most about the industry?
I love interacting with people and the connections that you make in this business.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
Being raised in a family that has been practicing real estate for so long, I have a much deeper understanding of the real estate industry.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Every client and transaction is a completely different set of circumstances.
What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Talking with people and following up with the people that you’ve met.
What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?
I just finished watching The Sopranos for the first time. I am currently reading Wool by Hugh Howey. I have been on an oldies kick recently.
What’s your favorite meal in Atlanta?
There are too many to list. I have a saved folder on my phone with 41 different places that are my favorites
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta?
I love all the different older homes that are in Atlanta, especially Leila Ross Wilburn homes.
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
Walking into a property and being greeted by a raccoon in the kitchen.
What’s one thing people are surprised to learn about you?
That I am an Eagle Scout.
What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Bermuda to relax, Southeast Asia for adventure, camping and hiking along the East Coast. It is hard to pinpoint a single place, as each has its own parts to love.
What is your favorite city after Atlanta?
It is a toss-up between Bangkok and Saint Petersburg, Florida.

Work your connections.
What’s your favorite real estate iPhone/Android app?
The phone app. I get the most done with a phone call.
Who are your favorite people to follow on social media?
As my New Year’s resolution this year, I drastically cut down on my social media usage. But before, I only followed friends and family.
