What was your first job in the realty industry? Property/Maintenance Manager for a large residential property management company based in Marietta
Where did you grow up? Marietta/Smyrna area (I’m a Cobb County native)
Growing up, what did you want to be? CEO/President of a Fortune 500 company. My degree was in Business Management.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Take a cruise or listen to music on my iPod
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Barbara Corcoran because the knowledge would be valuable or Maya Angelou because the inspiration her words still bring would be valuable to hear in person
Where is your favorite place to hang out? When time allows, I like to spend quality time with my family.
What do you love most about the industry? I love being part of a very important and memorable time in a family’s life. No one else can can do this for them and to me that’s an honor.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? My listening skills and attention to detail and patience have propelled me to the level of success I have experienced so far.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Working with unethical agents who don’t have their clients’ best interest at heart. I pride myself on placing the client’s best interest first because that’s what brings you referrals.
Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Networking events, local events, church and word of mouth. Keeping myself visible and letting friends and family know I am still in real estate.
What has been your greatest accomplishment? Marrying the love of my life and raising my three wonderful children to face the ever changing demands of this world. My family is my greatest accomplishment.
What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? Mother! This is a very good movie.
What is your favorite restaurant? Gumbeaux’s in Douglasville
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta? Fox Theatre and the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium
What kind of car do you drive? Kia Sorrento – An SUV is a must have for all Realtors.
Smartphone or paper? Smartphone. Being mobile is the key.
What is your favorite city after Atlanta? Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area is my second home
In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Get a mentor and affiliate with a good accessible broker.
