What was your first job in the realty industry? The Message Center at Northside Realty with Johnny Isakson and his assistant, Joyce Shade.

Where did you grow up? I’m a Georgia Peach, born in Dalton and grew up in Marietta and Smyrna.

Growing up, what did you want to be? This changed often, from an architect to artist, to mother, to computer programmer…

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Color or draw, listen to music, walk.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? John Denver, because his music brought me a lot of joy growing up.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? Outside on my deck or anywhere with my family.

What do you love most about the industry? When we find THE house and all the smiles at closing.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I consider the personality, needs, and situation of each client and tailor my service to best fit them and accomplish their goals.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Sometimes the “flexibility” isn’t very flexible.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Everywhere I go I network and meet people! My last closing was with a gentleman my family and I met at Buffalo Wild Wings watching the GA Dawgs game.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? Overcoming fears and living in the moment, really seeing people and getting to know them, and enjoying every day.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? Hidden Figures

What is your favorite restaurant? Big Bad Breakfast in Oxford, MS and La Parilla in Marietta, GA

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Start with 6-12 months in savings. Find a great mentor!
