Elegant Homes LLC of Atlanta has planned to develop 19 single-family attached and detached homes in the historic Druid Hills neighborhood on three acres on Briarwood Drive, the Atlanta Business Chronicle reports. 

Plans have been filed with Dekalb County. The developer said new 1,200-square-foot homes are will provide housing at a price point currently unavailable in the area. 

Two structures will be built at the front of the property. “Each structure will be designed to appear as a traditional single-family detached house, in keeping with the historic district, containing three dwelling units each. Additional units are organized behind the two main structures so as to not directly affect the view shed of the Briarcliff corridor,” the developer said.
