Kaylin Pound, the longtime leader of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties‘ 575 North and North Georgia Mountains offices, is retiring and will be succeeded by former Realty ONE Group Edge President Ashley Butterworth Mills, who was appointed senior vice president and managing broker of both locations.
Pound joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties in 1980. During her tenure, she helped establish the company’s New Homes Division.
“It has been an incredible privilege to serve alongside the agents and communities of North Georgia for so many years,” said Pound. “I am proud of what we’ve built together and confident that Ashley will continue to lead these offices with integrity, vision and care.”
Mills has been in real estate for more than 20 years, with a focus on sales and marketing across real estate, staffing and education. At Realty ONE, she led operations across multiple metro Atlanta offices, focusing on agent development, recruiting and building a collaborative culture, according to an announcement. She graduated Georgia State University and lives in Canton with her family.
“I am honored to step into this role supporting the agents of our 575 North and North Georgia Mountains offices,” said Mills. “These offices have been shaped by the remarkable leadership of Kaylin Pound who has made numerous contributions to our company’s success during her 38 year tenure. I am truly grateful for the strong foundation she has built. I am excited to continue that legacy while working with our agents to strengthen collaboration, expand opportunities for growth and support the exceptional level of service our Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties brand represents across these communities.”
