JLL Capital Markets recently hired John Topping as a senior director for multifamily investment sales and advisory transactions in greater Atlanta and the Southeast. 

A 13-year veteran of commercial real estate, Topping most recently served as a senior director at Global Real Estate Advisors (GREA) in Atlanta, where he represented private capital clients in the Southeast. Topping has also been a director at Newmark Knight Frank and senior associate at SRS Real Estate Partners. He started his career at Marcus & Millichap. 

At JLL, Topping will work with Senior Managing Director Peter Yorck, Senior Managing Director John Weber and Director Nick Brown. He will report to Richard Reid, senior managing director of JLL’s Atlanta Capital Markets office.

Topping received a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Real Estate from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.
