Atlanta-based build-to-rent contractor Jim Chapman Construction Group recently hired ResiBuilt and ResiCap veteran Brandon Woods as assistant vice president of land acquisition. 

A 20-year veteran of BTR, multifamily and mixed-use development, Woods will work with landowners, brokers and developers to pursue strategic land acquisitions and guide projects through early-stage development, JCCG said in an announcement. He has experience in site identification, feasibility analysis, due diligence, entitlements and design coordination. 

“Brandon brings deep development experience and a strong understanding of the land acquisition process that will be a tremendous asset,” Jim Chapman Construction President Chris Mancuso said. “His ability to build relationships, evaluate new sites and navigate project complexities will strengthen our efforts to find the right opportunities and create value for our partners.” 

Woods has a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in business management and finance from Auburn University’s Harbert College of Business.
