Allan Minter, Realtor and senior advisor with Dorsey Alston Realtors, is exactly where he’s always wanted to be. Today, this Atlanta industry veteran boasts a 100%-referral-based business and has an average time-on-market of only three days for his single-family home listings. “We’d give Allan 7 stars out of 5 if we could,” reports one of his recent clients. “It was a complex transaction with lots of moving parts due to ongoing renovation, but Allan and his team were ALWAYS there every single step of the way, and we’d never have gotten the deal done without him.”
In the wild ride of 2021, Minter continues to strive for new accomplishments both professional and personal. This past year, he climbed the Cotopaxi volcano in the Andes Mountains in just three days, and next up, he’s preparing to climb Aconcagua in Argentina, a peak of over 23,000 feet.
Minter serves on the board of directors for drawchange, a nonprofit that does art therapy for homeless kids. He and his daughter, Stella, have been volunteering at the shelters for the past few years. Minter says, “To see the transformation in these kids — to go from defeat to a feeling of hope and encouragement — it’s a beautiful sight to see.”
Minter’s on track for over $20 million in sales volume for 2021. He had a record-breaking open house in September, with 113 people coming through. “I’ve had more multiple-offer transactions this year than any other year, and in so many ways, I plan to keep climbing,” declares Minter. Together, he and his family — including his wife of 10 years, Ana, and their climbing enthusiast daughter, Stella — keep moving and challenging themselves. The Minters are excited about the future.
