Holly Walther’s 20 years in the lending industry have made her many Atlanta agents’ go-to resource for local lending expertise. Her expansive knowledge of loan products and guidelines, and her dedication to client service, manifest as a 100 percent closure rate on every loan she pre-approves. “I love my job!” she says, and cites the fact that she had a hand in placing more than 300 families in homes this year as a major contribution to her professional satisfaction.

“I’m one of the lucky ones who found my dream profession right after college,” says the Auburn University alumna. “Helping people is what excites me the most, because I’m not just helping them buy a home, but I’m also teaching them how to build wealth,” she explains. Walther’s approach to what many consider a complicated or even stressful process is to maintain a sense of levity and provide her clients with thorough explanations through every step of the process. Known for her ability to focus closely on the details of each transaction, Walther relishes the opportunity to provide area homebuyers with the resources they need to move into their dream home.

“It’s important that I educate people about their choices so that they make the best financial decision possible, but it’s equally important that they do not have to sacrifice customer service for the sake of that guidance and counsel,” she says. And she ensures that her clients are never wanting for personal, attentive service. While Walther’s primary focus is on the Atlanta metropolitan area, she works with clients throughout the entire southeastern U.S., giving her the close understanding of the region’s markets that her clients rely on. Walther’s local knowledge and skillful handling of clients have helped propel her to the top 5 percent of mortgage bankers nationally, and the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia has recognized her as a top producer multiple years in a row.

Walther is a mother of three and believes in giving back to the community by sponsoring Team Maggie For a Cure – Run for the Young with Cancer. She also lends support to HomeAid and MUST Ministries. Her professional goal for 2016 is to surpass her achievements in 2015 and help 400 families get the financing they need to buy a new home. That goal, she says, is attainable thanks to the team of hardworking professionals she works with. “I’m so blessed to have wonderful colleagues who share my passion and strive to exceed the expectations of everyone who comes to us.” Walther considers her role in the homebuying process a rewarding one. “Nothing beats seeing the smile that comes across someone’s face when they close on their home,” Walther says. “It’s why I do what I do, and why I can honestly say that I have the greatest job in the world.”
