Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage
A loyal member of the Coldwell Banker family, Kathleen Sickeler earned her real estate license in 1998 and has worked with the same company ever since. An associate broker with a vast array of expertise, including new constructions, total renovations, resales and buyer-controlled sales, Sickeler serves clients in and around Atlanta, many of whom are repeats and referrals. “I have sold to entire families, including parents and siblings,” she says. “I have one family where we are on their third home!”
The No. 1 agent at the Intown branch, Sickeler also currently holds the top spot companywide for gross commission income as of Sept. 30, 2019, and in 2018 received the Coldwell Banker International President’s Award, which is given to the top 5 percent in Coldwell Banker nationally. “This is huge for me, as I have worked hard all year and put smart working strategies in place,” she says, adding that in addition to enhancing her internal business systems, she’s taken a proactive approach to improving her health and mindset.
Sickeler moved to the United States in 1992, immediately settling in Atlanta to work as an au pair in Morningside. After getting married in 1997 and seeing her mother-in-law’s success as a top-producing agent for Coldwell Banker, she decided that real estate was the career path for her and channeled the reliability, trustworthiness, diligence and determination that made her a sought-after nanny to assisting buyers and sellers. “It’s the little things that make all the difference,” she says.
Sickeler and her family live in East Atlanta in a renovated 1920s home and, even after nearly three decades in Atlanta, continue to love everything the city has to offer.
