Shannon K. Bradshaw, Senior Mortgage Banker

BankSouth Mortgage

Confidence is the watchword for Shannon K. Bradshaw’s approach to mortgage lending. The confidence she holds in her abilities allows her to empower her clients to make informed financial decisions. Education and communication are essential, she says. Her real estate partners trust her guidance and confidently refer their clients. Bradshaw’s commitment to client service is her trademark.

The 19-year industry veteran with a degree in journalism and communications came to mortgage lending in a marketing capacity, supporting loan officers with materials and campaigns designed to reach clients and referral partners. “I learned quickly the most effective marketing tool was clear, consistent, daily communication to deliver an exceptional experience,” Bradshaw recalls. Partnering with real estate agents, financial planners and past clients, she created a strong foundation of trusted referral sources. Her focus on communication and applying that skillset would serve her well in her career as a loan officer.

Today, Bradshaw is known for her depth of market knowledge and exceptional communication. Her clients acknowledge they feel empowered because she presents options that align with their goals. “At the close table, there is a sense of confidence because the choice was made based on having all the facts presented clearly,” she explains.

While Bradshaw celebrates that all clients are different, she believes that every buyer has the same three basic goals when purchasing a home: a set price point that aligns with the home they need, a goal for their monthly payment, and an amount they are comfortable bringing to closing. After that, she says, “My job is to provide solutions people do not know to ask for. I also provide answers to questions they did not know to ask.”

Away from the office, Bradshaw supports the GA/SC Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Christ the King School. She is also committed to a healthy lifestyle through nutrition and exercise.
