Lamont Ellebb, CEO

007 Security/ Champagne Closings

Lamont Ellebb does more than sell security systems to homebuyers at closings, he sells peace of mind. Ellebb, CEO of 007 Security/Champagne Closings, educates buyers in Metro Atlanta on how to protect their homes and offers tips on how to stay safe. During the final walkthrough, clients always feel empowered by the knowledge they’ve gained and often tell him, “I never thought about this!”

Ellebb has been an entrepreneur for more than three decades. As owner of 007 Security, an authorized ADT dealership, and CEO of Champagne Closings, a one-of-a-kind celebratory experience for homebuyers, he is making his mark on the industry.

Ellebb got into the real estate industry because of his best friend from college, Clarance Patterson. “We rehabbed homes for a living in the area I was raised,” he says. “Currently Clarance and his daughter Krystn have a show on HGTV called “Flipping out with my Dad.” His work as a contractor in the home improvement industry and career as a nightclub owner informs the five-star service he brings to the closing table.

“My ability to listen has helped me learn to effectively communicate with people,” he says. “Listening is a skill that drives my ministry in real estate.” His entrepreneurial spirit has allowed him to reinvent himself and continuously grow his Champagne Closings brand globally during the past 27 years.

Networking and educating clients about home security has helped him cultivate relationships and provided immense opportunities to promote his brand. Ninety-nine percent of his clients are referrals from loan officers, realtors, insurance agents and real estate attorneys.

Ellebb’s biggest professional accomplishment was in August, when he signed a contract to purchase a vacant lot in Chicago’s Bronzeville area for his daughter. The momentous occasion happened on her birthday. She plans to build a multi-unit investment property in the historic neighborhood.
