Tammie Carter, Associate Broker

Engel & Volkers North Atlanta

With 20 years of real estate experience, Tammie Carter brings a solution-driven approach and a strong commitment to achieving results to her clients in northern Georgia and Atlanta, all while infusing a sense of fun. The area native understands industry nuances well, as she started her real estate career as the owner of a title company, later became an appraiser, and worked in land acquisition and development before becoming a real estate agent and, eventually, a broker.

Carter serves both buyers and sellers in residential sales of single-family properties, condos and townhomes, both in and out of the luxury market. She’s known by clients for being knowledgeable, personable and unflappable. She holds an informal question-and-answer session with each client to understand their needs and ensure she’s best positioned to fulfill their expectations.

Many clients have noted how Carter leaves them feeling as if they were the only one she’s working with and have remained personal friends with her long after the transaction. Client confidence in her abilities is the accomplishment she is most proud of. “The trust my clients invest in me, which has resulted in numerous awards, motivates me to continuously exceed their expectations and fulfill my responsibilities to them.” Carter has consistently ranked in the top 20% of agents in her state and has been a multimillion-dollar producer for the past ten years in a row.

Fully embedded in her field, Carter is a member of the National Association of Realtors and 400 North Association of Realtors. The proud mom of two also has four grandchildren and loves spending time in the northern Georgia mountains hiking by the waterfalls. She’s the founder of the Johns Creek Women’s Club, which helped support WellSpring Living — a nonprofit that fights childhood exploitation. For her efforts, Carter was featured in Johns Creek City Lifestyle magazine as one of the community’s top givers.
