What was your first job in the realty industry? Harry Norman Realtors, where I was a top listing agent.
Where did you grow up? Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
What is your favorite free-time activity? Exercise and tennis.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Yoga, and listen to all types of music.
Growing up, what did you want to be? A Realtor – I have always worked for myself, and I come from a long line of Realtors on both sides of the family!
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Carrie Underwood. I am a huge country music fan, and I have watched this lady develop both professionally and spiritually into a marketing genius with class. As with so many of today’s successful young stars, she is also all about paying it forward and giving back.
Where is your favorite place to hang out? Downtown Roswell; great restaurants and outside fun!
What do you love most about the industry? I have always had a passion for people. I love the fact that this job is helping clients make one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives, but in the process, becoming a friend for life.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I feel I am genuine. Having been a Realtor for more 20 years, and knowing Atlanta as well as I do, this is second nature. I work hard, I am honest and truly care about the client and being the best I can be throughout the entire buying or selling process! It’s about building relationships.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Keeping up with demand. An agent can only be spread so thin for the clients that I work with; it is 24/7 until the job is done to their satisfaction.
Where do you go to network and meet new clients? I work a little with social media via my Facebook business page and Twitter. For more than 20 years, I have grown my business strictly from referrals.
What has been your greatest accomplishment? My family. If you don’t have the support and respect of your family and prioritize your life, you will not be successful. I learned that the hard way years ago.
What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? “Heaven is for Real.”
What is your favorite restaurant? Rays on the River – awesome food and great jazz!
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta? The King and Queen towers.
What kind of car do you drive? Lexus GS 470.

What is your advice for someone new to the industry? Be honest, work hard and show your client your worth by actions, not words!
