What was your first job in the realty industry? Sales and marketing assistant at Morris and Raper Realtors in 2001.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Yoga and travel help me relax.
Growing up, what did you want to be? A lawyer.
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Barbara Walters. She paved the way for women in her field. She has interview the most interesting people in the world, and she still looks great!
Where is your favorite place to hang out? My house, actually. If I have to choose one place to hang out outside of my home, it would be any restaurant featuring live entertainment (especially R&B and jazz).
What do you love most about the industry? It is ever-changing and always a challenge. Every customer brigs a different challenge to the table.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I’m direct and honest. I cannot misguide customers and only tell them what they want to hear.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Trying to turn a buyer away from a house that does not meet their needs.
Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Meet-up groups, my church and luncheons.
What has been your greatest accomplishment? Raising a son while being a working-wife, and while my husband travels 80 percent of the time.
What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? Silver Linings Playbook.
What is your favorite restaurant? Brunch: 57th Fighterhouse; dinner: Brick Tops Buckhead.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta? The Capitol Building.
