What was your first job in the realty industry? Century 21 in Norwood, Massachusetts.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Walk, read, ski, or just plan a vacation.

Where did you grow up? Walpole, Massachusetts and Rangeley, Maine.

Growing up, what did you want to be? A real estate builder and broker.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Warren Buffett, Because he owns the company I work for, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Georgia Properties.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? On any mountain I can ski on.

What do you love most about the industry? The clients I work with.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I have been working with both sellers and buyers for 30 years, and I have run my own real estate company in two states, working with luxury homes, first-time buyers, investors and relocation clients. I love where I live and enjoy what I do, so it’s easy to service and sell what I believe is still the American Dream.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Keeping up with the ever-changing technology to stay cutting edge to best serve my clients.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Most of my business is referral, so I enjoy socializing with past clients.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? “The Power of One” by Bryce Courtenay.

What is your favorite restaurant? Luciano’s in Duluth and 1910 Public house in Lilburn.

What kind of car do you drive? SUV.

Smartphone or paper? Both as needed.

What is your favorite city after Atlanta? Santa Barbara; Boston; Portland ME and San Francisco.

What is your advice for someone new to the industry? Go with a company that has great training, so you get in the habit of not short cutting.
