What was your first job in the realty industry? Real Estate Agent for the company Homeland Groups LLC
Where did you grow up? Some of my childhood in Philadelphia, the rest in Atlanta
Growing up, what did you want to be? At first a meteorologist or a storm chaser. Then it changed to something like computer scientist. As I got older I wanted to something in business, which I went to school for. And here I am, proud to be in the real estate industry as a realtor.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Listen to music
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Donald Trump, because he’s a real estate mogul. I’d love to pick his brain and figure out how he did all that he did.
Where is your favorite place to hang out? Midtown Atlanta
What do you love most about the industry? Meeting new people, seeing a variety of homes, big, small, tall, wide etc. I also love the freedom of schedule. Of course the potential income that can come of it, but that’s the icing on the cake for me.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I try to be as genuine and as honest as possible. I also like to think outside of the box and not blend with the crowd.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Pleasing the clients that have high, sometimes unrealistic expectations. It can be done, but it takes a lot longer…
Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Various places and meeting throughout Atlanta. I also use social media like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
What has been your greatest accomplishment? Getting my real estate license and having a clientele already in place to get things going.
What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? Last good movie I saw was The Equalizer starring Denzel Washington.
What is your favorite restaurant? I don’t have one. There’s so many different types of places I love. I favorite restaurants for the different types of food served.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta? The King and Queen building in Atlanta.
What kind of car do you drive? Ford Fusion for right now, planning on upgrading soon
Smartphone or paper? Smartphone, I’m a tech geek at heart
What is your favorite city after Atlanta? Ft. Lauderdale, followed closely by San Diego, CA
In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Work hard, stay focused, be consistent!
What’s your favorite real estate iPhone/Android app? I don’t have one specifically, but I do like the Supra EKey app, so I can access the Supra lock boxes without the SupraKey Fob
Who are your favorite people to follow on Twitter? Kevin Hart, because he’s a comedian and I love to laugh. In terms of business I like National Association of Realtors, and Inman News on Twitter. They’re always updating followers wit real estate news and the current market status
