What was your first job in the realty industry? I got my real estate license in 2005 and started with Century 21 in the Chicago area.

Where did you grow up? I grew up in Highland Park, IL and also Cheshire, CT.

Growing up, what did you want to be? I wanted to be Jacques Cousteau, who was a marine biologist and marine animal advocate.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? I swim in our pool or take my dogs for a walk.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Jesus Christ, to know that he is.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? I hang out on my backyard porch. It is so nice and quiet and private. I watch the birds and my dogs play, listen to music and enjoy the day.

What do you love most about the industry? I love helping people with this most important transition in their lives. It can be a very stressful time, and I try to make it a fun one.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I am primarily a customer service oriented Realtor. I am at the service of my clients to make sure the experience they have with me is extraordinary.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? I would have to say that figuring out what buyers want in a home, even when they do not know themselves. You have to be a little intuitive and ask a lot of questions.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Everywhere I go, all day long, I wear my real estate badge and talk about real estate.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? I have been with my husband for 29 years and have two wonderful kids, both of whom are in college.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? “Guardians of the Galaxy” – it was a fun ride!

What is your favorite restaurant? Provino’s in Snellville; they have terrific veal. Or The Parthenon in Chicago, which has the best Greek food EVER!

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Atlanta? I love the old Antebellum homes of Atlanta. Such a rich and wonderful history.

What kind of car do you drive? An American-made SUV.

What is your favorite city after Atlanta? Newport, RI.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Stay organized, on schedule, have a plan, have fun.
